[QUOTE=DaveD345;4643171]My 11 yo Yorkie (12 lbs) has the same deal going on. I've only changed foods twice in the 3 years that I've had her hoping I'd find something that she likes. She'll eat the new food with gusto for a few weeks but then simply ignores it. Yesterday out of frustration I added a small dab of soft butter to her food and she gobbled it down. But how healthy is a small amount of butter on a daily basis? I tried the parmesan cheese thing and it worked for a little while, then she ignored that, too. Is a little butter every day going to hurt her? She is otherwise very happy and playful and loves to go for walks. Her stools are very normal and regular. The vet says her teeth are good.
If you discover something that your little one likes, please post it!! Thanks!![/QUOTE
OMG it sounds like the same thing. Weird. I STILL blame it on the Nexgard. She was perfectly normal before that. The butter really works, but don't like doing that. Like you said the parm worked for a while. Ok......so I bought her the Rachel Ray kibble and the Rachel Ray canned food. It's called NUTRISH......I got her the beef. The beef in container actually is a plastic container. Got it at Shopko. OMG she loves it! I mix ONLY like a portion of a teaspoon and stir her kibble in that. She gobbles it up. It's worked for a week so hopefully will continue. Keep me posted. Thx. |
