I do all of my boys' grooming at home. Tried doing a puppy cut on Max when he was young, but I was really bad at it. That was one reason he ended up in full coat.  
My boys' body hair is just above the floor. The hair tends to suffer from being dragged along pavement or grass on our walks, so it will never be perfect to the floor like a show coat.
Their beards: I've played with the length. I like Teddy in a shorter beard. Max seems to prefer his longer beard, so I have let it grow out again. When I cut it short last year, he acted like he was off balance.  |
Maximo, how do you keep your boys beards from soaking up the water when they drink? Scottie and Casie are both mopping up the floors after they drink with these wet beard spots everywhere on the floor!
