It is hard to know what to do first, isn't it? Are you dealing with a specialty hospital clinic? First if not get yourself to one. An echocardiogram should be done by a cardio specialist as well as an opthamologist for the eye check. I am not sure what they want the ultrasound for - you mentioned bronchial lobe? Bronchialobe what is wrong with it?

None of these tests are especially invasive but most are expensive. You might after listening to the second opinions ask the specialist what is in most need to be done first? The eye exam? The lungs? Or the heart? Given her overall medical condition how many more years might she have left? She is after all already 14 yrs old, which is a good age of life for a Yorkie. The arthritis for right now I would not worry about as she is roughly over 90yrs old and what senior does not have arthritis? How will the information you glean from these tests improve her quality of life for her remaining years?

It is so very hard to watch our seniors age, and there are only individualized answers to the problems or challenges that do crop up. I am so very sorry you are going through these worrisome and heartbreaking times.
