I had one yorkie female, when she was 3 yo I came home with a 8 week old female puppy. My 3yo was like

, puppy jumping in her face, nipping at her heels the 3 yo took to high grounds the sofa. My yorkies were not tiny ones, the 3 yo would come down off the sofa every so often to check the new kid out but stayed mainly on high grounds, away from baby JAWS. once the puppy was able to jump up on the sofa my 3 yo had no choice but to be friends. 3 years later I bought another 8 week old girl home, now I had a 6 yo and a 3 yo on high grounds. In time same story when the baby was able to jump up on the sofa the older ones had to accept her. I had 3 wonderful girls. They are all now passed. It takes time for the older ones to accept a new kid, do not expect your older one to accept a new kid from the getgo, it may take a few weeks. Always make Wall-e the first, put his food bowl down FIRST, if you go out, when you come home pet Wall-e FIRST, when it is treat time give Wall-e his FIRST. Give him time to adjust, I am sure he will accept his new sister and be BFF. Please keep us up-dated we LOVE hearing how an older baby accepts a new kido.
