Well Callie my yorkie was an only baby for about 5 years when my mom got a rescue and he would come over at least twice a week and they had their jealous moments but became pretty good friends. Eventually my parents moved in with me and my grandma and they became even better friends. He recently passed away but before he did we ended up with a 9 week old pup and Callie just turned 9 and has the same personality. She is maybe a bit more active now though. Making the decision to get another can be tough but when it's meant to be it kinda works out.
