stinky house I have 3 peebodies in my house. They are outside trained, but 2 of them will occasionally pee in the house, especially when it is raining outside. After being away several weeks at on the job training, my son came in last night and said he can smell the dogs. We recently had almost a straight week of rain. So, the peabodies were having a hay day. This is a big deal to me. I do not want to be nose blind.
I have an area rug in the living room. The rest of the living area is either tile or wood. I make sure to clean any "mistakes" with vinegar to kill the bacteria and odor. I have a bissell, but I don't think it is getting rid of the carpet odor.
I suggested having the house professionally cleaned. My husband and son argue that this won't help.
How do you all keep a fresh smelling house?
