Default Alternative to cones

Yes, we're going through that awful feeling of not letting her play rough which is how she likes to play. But there are things you can't control now that she's feeling better she runs everytime she hears a noise outside or sees something . How can you stop that quick unexpected reaction. As far as the incision I've already cought her trying to pick at it lifting the onesie. We're constantly watching but when you fall sleep ? We might use a soft cone if anything just to sleep . I just feel sorry because I know she'll hate it. What did you used on Cookie?
