I don't have a pool, but I think this is great advice from a chemistry stand point. I would assume that the chlorine from the pool water is probably damaging to the hair if not rinsed out with tap water. If I had a pool (I'll just dream about it for now ) I'd rinse with a solution of 2 (or 3) parts water to 1 part vinegar. I hear apple cider vinegar does wonders for dog's hair and skin too, not to mention a natural flea repellent!
