Oh no.... poor poor Ruger! I'm so sorry to hear he's sick and needs to stay over night. But good work taking him into the vet asap. I don't know anything about pancreatitis either and can only imagine how hard it must be...try not to worry too much. At least he's taking the IV fluids and probably feeling a whole lot better while being treated. Praying that it's only a very minor case and that it was caught early enough that he will get better really soon!!
