Piper loves other little dogs and approaches them with her little ears back and her entire little behind just a waggin' with joy. However, last week at a yard sale we met a young Chinese Chin (?); a sweet excited girl about Piper's size, who wanted to play---and Piper was totally put off by her...The dog wasn't overly aggressive or overly excited, just playful and doing those puppy-like shenanigans (pawing and such). You woulda thought that Piper was the Buckingham Palace Etiquette Dog or somethin' as you could soooo see her exasperation and disgusted nose-in-the-air attitude...Piper may as well have said it out loud (in a rather upper-crust British accent) cuz it was completely obvious that Pipe thought that pup was an ill-mannered little upstart! Unlike most other breeds (that I know of) our little ones certainly have strong opinions about many things and are more than happy to make those opinions known, any time, any place!!! (below: sooo over these kids nowadays)
