I appreciate your advise and comments . I'm glad to hear your little one Margie was comfortable the first night. I'm hoping that's the way my Mia feels. As for Cookie's mom your dog's name bring wonderful memories of my Cookie my other yorkie (boy) who passed away less than 2 years ago .
I bought those gerber onesies that come in a pack of 5 a size larger than her bc the newborn size was just perfect but not long enough at the bottom to cover the incision site. Thank all for your concern and good wishes toward my Mia.

These pups bounce back pretty well from the spaying. Cookie looked pretty wiped out the first day but by the second she was her normal self... which meant I had to confine her to the bedroom with a baby gate to keep her from jumping.
Sorry to hear you lost your pup a couple of years ago. My first yorkie Minnie died three years ago (that's her in my avatar pic) and it ripped my heart out. But Cookie healed it!
