first time posting hi everyone ... not sure if this is the place to ask this question ... but it's the only place I saw that I could start a thread so please forgive me if it's not the correct place!!! here we go ... our 5 year old yorkie needs to take a med everyday .. was using pill pockets or peanut butter. It was getting so he either found the pill in the peanut butter or pill pocket and not eat it or he would turn up his nose at it and walk away completely. So out of desperation one morning because I knew he liked turkey, I tried putting the pill in a very small piece of nitrate-free, nitrite-free turkey. He takes it that way with no problem. I am concerned, however, that it could be unhealthy for him over a period of time. I have to be honest and say it is so easy I have been resorting to it almost every morning ... I know ... not good. Any information or other suggestions on what to use would be most appreciated. Thanks!
