Most dogs I know do indeed like to be w/ their people and yorkies especially do love to be right with their owners.
You don't sound too happy with this little one so it worries me. If she is not right for you, then please, do give her up sooner than later rather than allowing her to fall more and more in love w/ her new family.
You could try an anti-bark system...search on Amazon. Just please do not under any circumstances get an anti-bark shock collar. A vibration-only collar may be okay but be careful in keeping it WAY turned down for her. I'm not even sure they'd have one that would fit a puppy's neck. How big is she?
