I'm getting so frustrated. My Yorkie turned Four on March 15th and March 20th, she decided she no longer likes her food. She always absolutely loved her food and would eat her sisters if she had the chance. I tried putting canned food mixed in the kibble, that lasted about a day. She just has no appetite. She is super playful. Just had her to the vet for her annual checkup up on April 28th and all is very good. I have to rub butter over my hand and put her food in my hand or she simply refuses to eat. It's so hard with two dogs because my other dog will eat her food if she doesn't so it's a constant watch. I tried taking the food away and placing it back down but still no Interest. The vet suggested I put some chicken broth over her food and no... would not eat it. That's what I hand fed her this morning though.
She loves her walks and will run and play for 1/2 hour straight maybe more if I threw her toy 50 times instead of 30. lol She doesn't even seem that thirsty.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
