I inherited my old lady (13 this month!) when my mum passes away and she's been fine up until now, however I found she had two swollen glands or lymph nodes near her front two armpits two days ago.

they definitely weren't there last week as she is a cuddle monster and I would have found them!

I took her to the vets and they say her neck glands are up too slightly and that it could be

1} her manky teeth spreading an infection
2} an infection as they feel soft not nobbly
3} lymphoma

I took her back today for a fine needle thing to test the cells

just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience that turned out not to be cancer?

just feeling really anxious about it, she's perfectly fine in herself eating well etc.

any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!
