Until we got our rescue Yorkie, we had no idea what sort of personality Yorkies had. We'd always had big, senior dogs who were very laid back. Then Butchie came into our lives.
Right after our vets saved his life, he was a really unhappy little creature, who did not want to be alive. No wonder, given the horrible life he must have led for eight long years. When he came to us, he was still not thrilled with life.
But slowly, he came around, and now he's a happy--and bossy--little man. He's smaller than any of our cats and certainly smaller than Sidney, our 70-pound lab/hound mix, but he's in charge of everybody and everything. He's sweet and hilarious, and we adore our little man.
