There were four that he recommended specifically, but I only remember the two names. It was a cautionary note, no more than that. My vet's prices are very reasonable on medications. I don't think he's worried about losing medication sales. He recommended that people buy medication associated with a vet.

I know people who buy Nexgard without a prescription from Australia. The price is half of what it is here. I'd wonder if it is counterfeit.

Do research on the pharmacy you are using. With Heartworm medication I'd want to know that it is not a counterfeit drug and that it is current.

To the OP, my vet prescribed only the Interceptor for Katie, not the plus. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help to you.
