Default Thank you!

Thank you for your kind welcome! I absolutely loved the site of the guy who takes care of senior animals, so thank you for giving me the URL to that. Every single picture I looked at made me smile.

We had a scare late last night. Somehow, a bee got into the house and stung Butch, our 5-pound, 11-year-old Yorkie. We would never had known, had Butch not started waving his paw in the air and shaking--and had not the bee stumbled across my lap.

Thank goodness for the Internet! We immediately looked up "bee sting yorkshire terrier" and found information: baking soda (or was it baking powder? I knew last night. ;-) ) mixed with water and applied to the site, plus the right amount of benadryl. Whew. We were prepared to go to the emergency vet, but Butch got better quickly. He's a bit subdued today, poor little man, but thank goodness he's OK.
