I just found your forum, and I wanted to say hi. I have one Yorkie, Butch (that's the name he came with), who's eleven years old. We got him when he was eight, from our vets, who had taken him away from abusive, neglectful owners. It took a while for us to win his trust, and especially for my husband; it appears that Butch was treated badly by a man. We suspect that Butch was a puppy mill puppy who was a stud dog.

I'm a freelance proofreader and editor, and I work from home. My husband and I do a lot of animal rescue. We have eight cats and two dogs, all rescues, all seniors (except for one cat), and most are special-needs animals. I'm a fanatic knitter, a very inexperienced spinner of yarn, and I love to read.
