Love this stuff, it's been a real lifesaver, especially when those darn burrs/stickers are in season. I've had the big bottle on hand ever since Joey was a puppy, eight plus years now and we are still half full. I don't use it much on Joey, but Ralphie has more of a cotton coat, so the he does get more tangles.

I agree with the others, the puppy coat often mats terribly because they are shedding some fur and it turns into mats. So go ahead and shave, when it grows out, you probably won't have nearly as much trouble with matting.
