I have used science diet since we have had buckeye. the vet recommended it. I recently asked the vet about this brand because i was hearing too many bad things about it. she said her dogs are on science diet she says there are better brands out there but there are worse too. I tried many brands with buckeye because he was really pickey and this was the only one that he would eat. we stuck with it for the other 3. I have had no problems with science diet. the first vet that recommend it to begin with said to put him on something high quality and to stay away from the ones that are different colors. the dyes in them are harmful to them. red dye in particular. There are lots of brands to choose from as long as it is high quality I do't think it makes any difference.
