I believe our Yorkies are like humans in that some can tolerate a lot more different types of food, but some just have sensitive stomach that do not tolerate different things.

My Westie and my little 5 lb Jasmine seems to be able to eat almost anything and it doesn't bother them. Murphy, who is twice as big as Jasmine seems to have a week stomach and can't tolerate a lot of different things.

I cook for our 3 quite a bit. I make a big bowl of chicken and rice every week. I cook a chicken, take it off the bone and mix it with a big bowl of rice that has been cooked in the chicken broth. I also mix some veggies (peas, carrots, in with it. They love it. It will last for several days. Sometimes I vary it by fixing hamburger and rice or turkey and rice. I also give them eggs and usually put a little cheese in when I scramble them. They usually get eggs a couple of times a week.
I feed them Biljac frozen dog food when I am out of anything cooked but I have found that Murphy doesn't tolerate the Biljac. He vomits after eating it. I have no idea why but have stopped feeding to him. There have been a few other things he can't eat that the other can.

They are all terrible beggars and I can't resist them so I am always giving them bites of whatever I am eating. We went out to eat last night and both had chicken fried steak with gravy. Neither one of us could eat but half of ours so I brought it home to Jasmine and the boys. They loved it. I know I probably shouldn't do that but I just can't help it.
