Cookie has lymphangectasia and is on a very low fat home cooked diet....a diet that was formulated for her in 2011 by a vet nutritionist; so her pancreatitis had nothing to do with her diet.

The cause of pancreatitis is often not known. Yes, diet can cause it, but it is not the only cause.

Also, lymphangectasia pups often do end up with pancreatitis and vice versa. Both conditions are related to the digestive system.
