Take it slow, be very cautious and safe....once something is done that terrifies them of the water, you will be fighting a battle for the rest of that babys life! I had a "groomer" (supposed to be one of the best in the area) almost drown one of my babies by passing him all up under a faucet, water in nose, eyes, ears, mouth, he came home that day absolutely terrified of water and bathing and he NEVER got over that terror....he lived another 8 years and he was absolutely terrified of water from that day forward.

Your baby is only 8 weeks old? There is no rush in getting this baby acclimated to a pool....certainly not before totally vaccinated....take your time, go slow and easy, because once you screw it up for the baby and baby is terrified of water, she will live with that fear....
