welcome another Canadian, Im so sorry about your little boy, how sad...I would change vets, do a google search on (rate my Dr.) and put in the name of the vet. You will see how your vet is rated as well as different vets that have good ratings.
It really sounds like you are a yorkie lover, I would have done the same thing, get another dog.
