Hello! My name is Cheryl and I am a new yorkie owner and new to this forum.
Although I care for many animals on our small farm in south jersey, I have never had a yorkie before now! I actually bred golden retrievers for many years!
I planned on my new yorkie pup for some time, researched and tried to learn as much as I could beforehand. Although I still feel a little lost now that she's home. The same weekend I brought Bridgette home, I also brought home a young male yorkie who was my daughter's college friends dog but he could no longer care for him. So now we have two! Brody and Bridgette
Brody is around 5 lbs , and a yr old. Bridgette is a little over a pound and almost 12 weeks.
Not to forget the rest of our menagerie..
Oscar our rescued mini donkey, Bella our rescued mini pony, Fig the goat, 40 or so chickens, Our LGD Great Pyrenees Kane and Blue! 2 barn cats Lex and Lovey
Our inside rescue cat Emmitt, and our standard poodle Chanel!
They four of them have already bonded in the short time they have been together.
