CAN they begin to hold it???
When I have Bella in the kitchen (gated!) she'll run to the pad and use it (poo and pee). When she's in her larger crate (w/the litter box) she'll use it fine. But when I have her on her lead (tethered to me or leg of chair w/box or pad nearby) she won't make it to her box in time-and it's really close! I hate always having her grated or crated but there are times when I need to get stuff done (believe it or not!) and I have to have her in there. I feel so bad though! When I'm showering and she's gated, she HOWLS!!!
