I know the feeling!! Isn't it funny how you read all the books, etc, that say - oh dogs don't have a concept of human emotions such as revenge and anger, etc. but I swear my Honey will do things to "get back" at us for when we do things she doesn't like. And Can't you just see it in their eyes? When we go out of town, we have a dog sitter come to our house and sleep in the bed with her!!! (it's a close family friend) just so the transition will be easy for her and she still behaves terribly for the sitter. She is very manipulative becuase when we get home, we have missed her so much, all she has to do is give us "the look" and we melt...dogs really are much smarter than given credit for!
