Cry freaking out... inguinal hernia

hi guys.

so i'm supposed to get my new puppy soon, half sister to my current baby ekko. she's about 8 weeks old now.
today my breeder told me that she think the baby girl may have inguinal hernia.. she's going to take her to the vet tomorrow to get her checked out.

my bf had that exact hernia in his groin and he had to get surgery this year and it was really hard on him..
i couldnt imagine how it'd be like on that little girl :/

breeder said that she'd pay for the surgery expense and all if she needs it in the future.. i guess that's a good thing.. and that she'd take care of her while she's healing and such..

but i donno what i should do. i do read that some puppies' hernia do end up closing during 10-12 weeks, but i also do read that some puppy indeed need surgeries and in some cases, their hernia is so bad that it can be fatal..

what should i do...? should i just wait for next litter or just hope that it'd heal?
