Scottie use to be on Acana, but he switched over to Orijen. Regardless, both are good as they're from the same company.
Just wanted to mention though, that it might not be a bad idea to rotate the flavours within the same brand. I buy the smaller 5lb bags because Scottie is so small and it takes a while to get through a bag. The larger bags also get stale faster and Scottie's appetite won't allow for stale meals

Anyway, every time before he's near the end of a bag, I switch the flavours and get another one (still Orijen), and mix them until the first bag is finished. My theory is, this way, he gets a variety of protein and hopefully won't end up being allergic to one or another. But obviously, if your dog doesn't do well on one protein, you should avoid it. If you're uncertain, you can buy the small sample bags to try out first. I think it's worth considering
