I'm concerned about their safety, unlike the microchip, which is a "passive" electronic device and doesn't emit signals, these would be emitting a live signal 24/7 and I don't think they know enough about the harmful effects of these signals. For me, it would be better to invest in something to keep my dogs from escaping the house, behavioral training or extra gates. Once they are outside, even if you can tract them, they are very vulnerable to getting hit by a car. I think they might be kind of good for part time use on some dogs, but last I heard, they are best suited for dogs over 20 pounds. Maybe someone can submit something about the safety?
