He is probably too young for obedience classes yet and what he is dpong is not unusual. When they stay with their moms dog longer that behavior is usually taken care of, but he was young and needed you so got to go from there.
When he nips at you tell him no, don't yell, and puLloyd your hand away. Offer him a chew type toy instead. He will start to get the message, but again he is young.
Be careful with the young children. Very often young children and young pups don't do well together and yours is at the biting/chewing stage, and with some pups this can go on got awhile.
