MissPixi, I do have another Yorkie. That is what I was afraid of as well. Of course, Zeusy comes and "tells" us when he's gone potty and wants it picked up immediately, and he doesn't poo when we're gone from home. He is one one of those that, God forbid, if a piece gets "stuck," he's in a state of panic. He runs to me wanting me to help him get it off. Then he's ashamed and thinks he did something wrong -- poor baby. Zeusy is also not obsessed with eating at all, although he is finicky. I think Percy would eat a car if he could fit it in his mouth. He will literally eat anything. We still free feed Zeusy, because he never overeats (about a 1/4 cup a day). He is very lean. I'm afraid poor Percy Poo will be one of those that will be overweight quickly. We will have to portion his food, and unfortunately, that means Zeusy as well. Percy Poo is so stumpy, I'm afraid his belly will drag the ground if he doesn't get taller!!! |
