I have to agree with all. Yorkies will bark and some more than others. When getting a puppy you need to spend time training them about the barking. I allow my dogs to bark a bit because I have guard n protect breed - but I also usually can stop the barking. The point is there will always be some barking going on.

So maybe get a cat or wait until you are in a more dog friendly place. Also Yorkies are not known to be so great with kids.
