As everyone has said, all dogs bark - some more than others. There really is no guarantee. The amount of barking
can be controlled by you and your efforts to train the dog. If you want to be safe,
Magnus' suggestion is a good one. But even then, sometimes change in environments and owners can lead to differing behaviours.
If you're doing research, make sure to look into training techniques as well.
