I don't think you'd be able to get a guarantee that any dog will never bark. Mine does just two barks when someone is at the door, but I don't know if he would bark more at an apartment with lots of people coming and going close by. He also barked like crazy as a puppy when we put him to bed every night. It took a few weeks of sleepless nights for him to like his bed area. I bought the bark deterrent egg, but it did nothing. Nothing I did worked, he had to stop on his own.
