Little dogs also bark more than big dogs. The only dogs I've had that rarely barked where Italian greyhounds and full sized greyhounds. They hardly ever bark because they are not protective. |
And there is the breed "Basinji" ....They apparently have a "chortle" but no bark....I have NEVER heard one so I have no idea what it sounds like or how loud it is....I had a friend that had a relative that did not want to hear a barking dog, so they bought one of those dogs....adored that dog....were amazed by the weird stools the dog had, not like regular dog stool but more ash consistency.....
