I agree with others above that Mia is very young and will grow out of any harness you buy now. Something to keep in mind when buying. You will probably go through 2 or 3 harnesses before she is full grown.
Both harness brands, Buddy Belt and Susan Lanci, are very nice. The Buddy Belt has a little room to adjust and grow in each size, while the Susan Lanci ones have to be almost perfectly fitted. Most of the SL have velcro, while the BB has a single buckle.
Padding: I know a leather harness does not sound comfortable, but think of it like a very soft moccasin shoe. The Natural edition of the BB is raw leather on the underside, but all the others are finished, very soft leather.
Some of the leather colors are even softer than others. There are also harness liners available for people who want them.
My boys wear classic Black daily, one of the colors that starts out the stiffest.
