My family all call it "mom's eechy-squeechy voice" and they used to make fun of me. Well, ha-ha, the laugh is on them. I hear them doing the same thing now. When I place a puppy and demonstrate the correcting disciplining voice I do my deep "you in big trouble voice" and then the high pitched one is so different that they learn the difference very quickly.
