As everyone wrote above, yes Yorkies love attention.
Most would love to be entertained by their humans all day. It's hard to say no. My boys have at least one human with them at all times, but we did have 1 emergency week where they had to spend some time alone.
I videotaped them and they were fine. Slept most of the time.
As suggested above, you can train for your pup to accept time alone. Start with brief periods and work your way up.
