Default HELP:: Severe Gastro Infection

Hi guys,

I need help or some advice. We are first time yorkie owners and have had our Charlotte for 3 weeks now, she has received her first inoculation and is now 12 weeks old.

On Saturday she started throwing up and looking a bit under the weather and I decided to take her to the vet immediately at 1 am as we have a rottweiler who was at the vet the same day for diarrhea, he did not have any parasites such as Parvo, but we felt it was necessary as Charlotte is so tiny.

The attending vet gave her some insulin and a second shot I am not sure of, did parvo testing which was clear. He also said she wasn't dehydrated and so we left with our little baby still under the weather, doc said to bring her back in two days if she didnt improve.

She didnt, we took her back on Monday and she's been there since. We were told they would do another parvo test, a scan and some blood work. I feel like our doctors have been sloppy with our case as we checked in everyday, it seemed she was on a drip and some antibotics from Monday to Wednesday- no improvement.

Last night we got a call that her condition has decreased rapidly and she has little to no white blood cells after doing the blood tests and scan they were meant to do on Monday. Why only yesterday?

I need advice, do you think I should keep her at the current vet or look at moving her to where I feel she will get primary care?
