I use a wet wash cloth with a small amount of JJ baby shampoo on Mario's head/face then rinse with a wet cloth. I worry about getting water in his ears if I poured water over his head.

Also, Mario get the same treat, at the same time ***every*** bath. As soon as I am done with his second dry he stands up on his hind legs looking on the kitchen counter for it with such excitement. I think it helps make bath time a bit more bearable for him.

As a service dog, he is bathed every 5-7 days and no problems yet.
