Hello my name is Sandy. I just joined today and will soon get around to exploring everything in more detail and do my profile. Also to post pics of my precious Bernie.
I have a question I'd like to ask in the meantime. I have had Yorkies in the past. My first male was only 4.5 lbs and looked and acted like so many other Yorkies do. My husband surprised me a few weeks back with an early birthday present; a 10 week old purebred male Yorkie. Of course I fell in love instantly.
My question is: He has the markings and coloring and temperament as a Yorkie, but he has a longer face with less fur on it and he has extra large ears! He is now 14 weeks old and will definitely weigh more than 4.5 pounds (double at least). Is this description normal for a "purebred" or do you think he is a mix? I've looked at many pics and he looks like a Yorkie but with these differences.
