I agree with Ann, give it more time. First few days are most challenging.
My boys liked each other immediately, but we still had things to sort out. Some things took days, others weeks. I think it took about 6 months before everything was settled.
Keep giving Ellie lots of attention and try to maintain her routine. Give her space to escape the puppy if she wants.
Trick training and walks helps my boys forge a bond. You probably will have to wait a bit for the walks. We didn't force anything between the boys. Just let them sort it out on their own. I continued to do things alone with my first, Max, reassuring him that he wasn't losing his place with me.
