As long as Gidget is healthy and current on her shots, she should be fine. I take Piper with me to Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Ross, Big Lots and such. She is 9 lbs and for the most part walks on leash; I carry her in food sections and/or if store is busy. I also make sure she is clean and cute (well, geez, the 'cute' part simply cannot be helped, yes?!). I introduce Piper to anyone who is interested (but do not ever let anyone take or hold your Gidget--ever!!). My condolences for your loss and may God bless you and your little Gidget through this trying times and always.
