My dogs grieve the loss of each baby we have that passes....some grieve a lot longer than others......I has been almost a year now, and I let Hailee hang out mostly in my bedroom....even today, if I happen to be talking about Hailee or telling a story about Hailee, her best firend Amber hears me say her name and Amber will run to the baby gate and look thru, towards the door to my bedroom, waiting for Hailee to come because "I called her name"......heartbreaking.....and she even glances back over her shoulder to say, "Mom, she isnt coming....maybe you need to go get her.....".

That breaks my heart..
