Hmmm.... so I went to a groomer recommended for her skill. I am NOT impressed and really kinda sad actually. She didn't put any character into the cut at all and I console myself with "it is not life threatening and it WILL grow back" I actually can't believe how disappointed I am. I love him so much and I feel like I let him down because the scruffy is what everyone loved but no ... I had to be a bit practical and want his fur shorter for the heat and also so things like his training collar fit better.
Maybe I wasn't clear when I asked for a puppy cut? She told me that a puppy cut is where they trim the nails and feet and eyes and that's it. I let her know that I wanted him a little bit shorter but with some style. Hmmmm....
I don't know if it's the stress of the day but I am feeling kinda devastated... sigh.
