I have had people train them to litter boxes with the peepad in it, but anything enclosed I personally would find awkward for the dog. When having a dog, I don't see a problem with a peepad somewhere. I don't think anyone coming in will be bothered by it either. You don't want to make things so weird for them that they start going elsewhere altogether. Good luck.
