That statement tells me everything I'd ever need to know about a person and their level of respect/compassion/understanding toward other sentient beings.
Newborn creatures are *always* fragile, end of story. I feel extremely sorry for any newborn creature that has fallen into your care, to be totally frank. Your flippant remark that "they ain't that fragile" is really callous and self-serving.
