Good news was he was pretty much healed up enough after 5 days. I did limit his jumping for that long and the only time he was free of the cones was when he was beside me with a bully stick or on a walk.

Monty looks cute! So glad your little one is good and he's strong if he healed up after 5 days Thanks hopefully Loki does, I don't like to see him with a cone on. My dad tied his cone with his harness because if we remove his cone he would go and reach his stitches. my mom is overprotective with him so he would need to use the cone until 14 days. it's pretty much big for his head but he's feeling quite better.
