So naturally I want him to be as comfortable as possible and I do the research and got the inflatable "zen" collar. Well it was definitely more comfortable ... but the wee beastie could reach his stitches! Sigh!!
So I put on the "cone of shame" and give him the "sorry bud ... I tried." And then I caught him ... he would push the cone down with his chin and then slide it along his tummy and the weee beastie could reach his stitches!! Sigh!!!
So he got the zen inflatable collar AND the cone of shame and voila .. couldn't reach his stitches. Hahaha.. awww looked funny though. He did figure out how to at least pick up a toy with that contraption. Attachment 409514
Good news was he was pretty much healed up enough after 5 days. I did limit his jumping for that long and the only time he was free of the cones was when he was beside me with a bully stick or on a walk.

Monty looks cute! So glad your little one is good and he's strong if he healed up after 5 days

Thanks hopefully Loki does, I don't like to see him with a cone on. My dad tied his cone with his harness because if we remove his cone he would go and reach his stitches. my mom is overprotective with him so he would need to use the cone until 14 days. it's pretty much big for his head but he's feeling quite better.
